Tuesday 27th February

Janet’s Group

Janet's group will be meeting at North Holmwood church for a Head Torch run around Holmwood common. We will head off at 7pm. Head Torch and hi viz required. However, if the BBC Weather predictions for Tuesday are correct and there is heavy snow fall, Janet will be staying at home!

Gail and the Jelly Babes

We will start with a couple of reverse switched 720s and if anyone (Trevor) gets ahead of the group they can turn around and do a forward flipped 900 with toe grab. We will finish off with a combination triple salchow and double toe loop. Keep an eye on social media as we may have to blank the end but I will carry the hammer over till next week. As ever – no funding. Trail shoes essential.

Howard’s Group

Tour Of Dorking. All Welcome.

Well done to all of you who took part in the training around the old Dorking library last Tuesday evening. The pictures I took are now on the club Facebook page if you are interested.

This week we are meeting at 7pm at Ashcombe School gates as usual, from where we will begin our Tour of Dorking. The weather is supposed to be cold but dry, so this session is planned to minimise time standing around. This run involves us jogging to all your favourite locations where we have run sessions in the past, and at each doing a couple of minutes of faster running before jogging on to the next. Because we are stopping briefly at each location to do a bit faster work even though we will be moving locations it is suitable for all running speeds who are welcome, no one will be left behind.

For those who struggle to get to Ashcombe school for 7pm the locations we will visit are;

Parkway, Curtis Road, Rose Hill, Cliftonville, St Pauls Road and back via Cotmandene.

Thursday 1st March

Brian's Group

Meet at Pixham at 7:00 warm up jog to the old library building ready to start.

Session as normal five elements: Warm-up jog - Dynamic mobile stretching - Main session - Static stretching - Slow warm-down jog.

Nick’s Group Meet at Pixham Sports Ground at 7pm

  • Long warm up run to Parkway

  • Drills & main session

  • Warm down run back to Pixham

All abilities welcome.
