This Autumn/Winter we are trying a few new things.
Next week (w/c 24 Sept) we are meeting at Pixham as usual on Monday and again on Thursday as it is the first handicap of the season.
From Monday 1st October the outline for our sessions will be as follows:
Mondays: 6.30pm-8pm The Priory School. This will be on the field with lights. It may get muddy.
Thursdays: 6.45pm-8pm St.Martin's school. A shortened outdoor session on the roads/car parks etc, followed by:
Thursdays: 8pm-9pm St. Martin's school. An indoor strength and conditioning session run by Fran Davey.
The last Thursday of each month we will be doing the handicap at Pixham Lane, 7pm-8.30pm. However, if you don't wish to do this, you are welcome to attend Fran's strength and conditioning session instead.
Please note that we will not be using The Priory during half term or Christmas holidays.
Regarding the Thursday sessions: the strength and conditioning sessions are not compulsory. However, many of the older athletes will definitely benefit. Please bring a clean pair of shoes for these sessions.
There are a few upcoming cross country events, see the club website for details. The first one is the Surrey Junior Cross country relay competition at Stoke Park on October 7th.
