There is only one MABAC race left this season, Sunday 19th November

10 a.m. at Farley Heath. Note yes, 10 a.m. ---- NOT 11 a.m.

Link to the mabac site directions and map.........

From Dorking take the A25 towards Guildford . Passing turnings for Shere and just before the Silent Pool, turn left onto the A248 Shalford road then after 300 metres fork left to Farley Green. At Farley Green bear right down Woodhill Lane to Farley Heath.

With this one race remaining for 2017, out of the eight competitive clubs in the league we are currently third, just behind Wimbledon and ahead of Runnymede.

I Hope to see as many as possible as well as some of the faster runners of you there! I don’t think there is a competing event. Farley Heath is a beautiful local venue. Friendly competition at almost every level.

At Cheam last month, a good group of faster men and some slower and just six ladies turned out for the club and (respect to you) did well to almost maintain our position. We would have overtaken Wimbledon but that a group of club members, for whom MABAC can be an ideal low-key run, stayed away for an organized private run elsewhere, almost at the same time and of the same distance as the MABAC. It might be suggested - if you are a club member - encourage your friends to come to an agreeable and free club event such as the MABAC !

The MABAC AGM takes place after the Farley Heath event at the Bandroom, Cranleigh starting at 12 noon. ( Same location as Cranleigh 15/21 race HQ). All welcome. Complimentary drinks and snacks. Come and have your say in the running of MABAC.

Best wishes, Patrick Martin
